Inside the plastics cover of the socket (10) is a conventional two-pin mains connector with sprung radial earth contacts. In the side faces of the cover are breakaway panels to allow access for the cables. The collar, which has two interlocking parts, slides into the breakaway slot. The trunking (41) consists of a plastics gutter (42) of rectangular cross-section and a plastics clip-on cover (43). The supply cables (44) are laid into the gutter.
