The transport container is in the form of an insert, usable for display if desired. It fits in a box and comprises a bottom, two upright lengthwise walls and one or more upright end walls. The lengthwise walls (7) join onto the bottom (6) via sloping intermediate ones (7'). There can be evenly-spaced holes for flower stems in the bottom, the pattern of holes extending into the sloping walls. The end walls can likewise be joined by sloping ones to the bottom.
