Each comprises a shell of cardboard or similar stiff material. Within this is a deep drawn lining 1 part of which extends over the upper edge of the shell. It is shaped to form a flat top edge and an angled, downwards-directed edge flange. The lining is deep drawn in a mould to give a tight contact with the bottom and sidewalls of the shell. The upper edge is drawn to run completely in line with the shell walls to give a flat and smooth surface. |
