PURPOSE:To eliminate a deviation between a ornamental cover and an inner surface of a cabinet by pinching the tip end of the ornamental cover by a cabinet, and pinching the tip end of the cabinet by means of the tip end of the ornamental cover and a rib erected on the lower surface of the ornamental cover. CONSTITUTION:A cabinet 1 has a step 2 at a portion fitted in an ornamental cover 3, and the tip end of the stage 2 is curved. The ornamental cover 3 is provided at its lower surface with a rib 4 erected perpendicularly to increase the strength thereof. The rib 4 makes contact with the tip end of the cabinet by perpendicularly intersecting the same, in the longitudinal direction of the cabinet tip end 6. The tip end 5 of the ornamental cover is overlapped on the step portion 2 of the cabinet, and the tip end 6 of the cabinet is pinched by the tip end 5 of the ornamental cover and the rib 4. According to the construction, the deviation between a surface A and a surface B of a casing surface and a discharge surface respectively of a blower of the air conditioner is eliminated, and there is no leakage of a cold air flow to the lower surface of the ornamental cover. Further, it is possible to thin the cabinet to maintain the strength thereof. |
