PRODUCTION OF HIGHLY HEAT-RESISTANT VINYL RESIN

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a vinyl resin of high heat resistance and excellent transparency, by copolymerizing a vinyl unsaturated compound with N-benzylmaleimide in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION:50-99wt% vinyl unsaturated compound such as vinyl acetate or styrene is radical-copolymerized with 50-1wt% N-benzylmaleimide at 30-200 deg.C for 1-24hr in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator (e.g., azobisisobutyronitrile).
