PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of CO, soot and unburnt gas as well as the danger of flame by a method wherein a means to stop combustion when the temperature of a temperature detecting means, provided at the inlet port of secondary air, has become a given temperature or higher is provided in the title safety device. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detecting sensor 11 is provided at the inlet port 9 of secondary air. The output of the sensor 11 is connected to a controller 12 which controls the combustion of a burner. A part of dust in the secondary air, supplied by a convection fan 6, is removed by a fan guard 14, however, remaining dust is accumulated on the inlet port 9 of the secondary air, in which the area of a passageway is minimized. When the dust is accumulated, the amount of secondary air is reduced and the speed of combustion in a flame is slowed down because of the shortage of air whereby the temperature of the inlet port 9 of the secondary air is risen suddenly. This temperature is detected by the temperature sensor 11 and the operation of the burner is stopped by the controller 12. Accordingly, the generation of unburnt gas, CO and soot may be prevented and the danger of catching fire or the like will never be generated whereby the safety of a combustion machine may be maintained. |
