摘要 An electronic integrator uses a voltage-to-frequency converter (U1) for converting a linear voltage (VIN) to an input frequency (fOUT'). A binary counter (U2) counts pulses of the input frequency (fOUT'). The binary counter (U2) generates an operating frequency which is applied to a scaling circuit U3-U6, SW2-SW4) and a calibration frequency (fCAL) which is much higher than the operating frequency. Both frequencies are, however, proportional to the input frequency (fOUT'). The scaling circuit (U3-U6, SW2-SW4) scales the operating frequency to a selected extent to form a counting signal (fOUT). Using a double-pole switch (SW1), either the calibration frequency (CAL) or the counting frequency (fOUT) is applied to a pulse counter (M1) whereby the pulse counter is either used to integrate the input voltage signal (VIN) by counting up pulses of the scaled counting signal (fOUT), or is used to calibrate the integrator using the calibration frequency which quickly increments the pulse counter(M1).
