PURPOSE:To simplify the forming process, by bending by 90 deg. a reel in the same direction at two points to make it into a saddle form, after a wire is wound around the reel of a specific form, when a saddle-form coil installed on a deflection yoke is formed. CONSTITUTION:A reel 7 is composed of a semicircular front part 7a, a tablet- form middle part 7b, and a circular arc form rear part 7c, and winding grooves 9 furnished at the outer edges 7d. Furthermore, V-shape grooves 8a and 8b are furnished at the contact edges between the reel parts 7a and 7b, and the reel parts 7b and 7c, to make it possible to lift up 7b and 7c parts by 90 deg. in the same direction from the middle part 7b. After a wire 10 is wound in the winding grooves 9 to form a coil 13, the front part 7a and the rear part 7c are lifted up by 90 deg. to make them in a saddle form, to make up a saddle-form coil for a deflection yoke. Therefore, a complicated composition of a saddle-form coil can be made simply and in a constant form, and the unnecessary radiation level can be reduced.
