The abovementioned pliers are to provide more grip and holding ability for the gripping of round, hexagonal, square objects and the like. In the ranges supplied by manufacturers, this system is not offered in the qualities of the pliers. Only flat-pointed pliers. In conventional combination (universal) pliers, the gripping and holding of round or worn hexagonal objects is possible only to a very limited degree. The object of the invention is to enable optimum gripping of round or other objects in a hole or indentation. It appeared expedient to design pliers to comply with this function. The solution lies in incorporating into pliers, which are considered as combination pliers, a guide in the form of a longitudinal prism with toothing. The secure gripping and good force transmission are proof of these properties.
