The I.C. engine is gas driven and has pressure modulator consisting of a chamber with a membrane, and connected to a spring loaded valve. The engine gas supply line (28) has an incorporated air regulator (44), which is screw operated. The injector for the gas to each cylinder has a annular duct with peripheral apertures. Liquid gas from the main tank passes a filter (2), valve (3) and evaporator pressure regulator (4). Using cooling water (5), the liquid gas is evaporated in a heat exchanger (6) of the evaporator pressure regulator.
