PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of NOx, CO or the like and permit stable combustion by a method wherein a plurality of heat radiating bodies which are hollow and carrying catalyst, are provided near the outer peripheral surface of a wire net. CONSTITUTION:Liquid fuel and primary combustion air are supplied into a evaporating body 1 and enters into a space between an inner tube 13 and a cap 16 through a mixing plate 3, further, they are ejected to the outside through small holes 14 and the network of a wire net 15 and are ignited to effect combustion. Air, entered into a branch pipe 21 and a clearance 20 from a ventilating pipe 8, is ejected into combustion frame from air holes 18 through the hollow part of heat radiating body 17 while a part of it is supplied into a combustion tube 22. Hereupon primary combustion flame 6 is formed near the outer surface of the wire net 15 and the heat radiating body 17, provided there, while secondary combustion flame 7 is formed by taking secondary air from the air holes 18 of the heat radiating body 17 into the back stream of the primary combustion flame whereby the perfect combustion of the fuel is effected as the terminal of the secondary combustion flame. Unburnt gas is burnt again on the surface of catalyst of the heat radiating body 17. According to this method, stabilized combustion condition, generating very small amounts of NOx, CO or the like, may be obtained.
