PURPOSE:To obtain a motor system having good hand operation accuracy by constituting the system of a driving circuit piezo-electric oscillator, rotor, speed reducing train wheel, stepping detecting means, etc. CONSTITUTION:An output signal of a specified period from a clock circuit 1 is inputted to the driving circuit 2 and the driving pulses subjected to formation of the waveform from the circuit 2 excite the piezo-electric oscillator 3. The forward and backward amplitude displacements of the oscillator 3 are converted to rotating displacements by the rotor 4. The rotor 4 turns the speed reducing train wheel 5 to operate the hand 6 such as second hand, minute hand or hour hand. On the other hand, the stepping detecting means 7 which outputs an electric signal at every specified rotating angle is engaged with part of the speed reducing wheel or transmission wheel of the wheel train 7 and the electric signal thereof is inputted to a control circuit 8. The circuit 8 inputs the signal of the means 7 to the circuit 2 which excites the oscillator 3 intermittently by limiting the oscillation frequency thereof, thereby intermittently rotating the rotor 4. The deviation of the timing for the stop signal by a stepping adjusting means 9 is possible. The timepiece having high reliability is thereby realized and the motor system of a low cost is obtd. with the space smaller than for an electromagnetic conversion mechanism.
