An electrical plug arrangement having electric shock protection contains an insulating sleeve (20) which can be pulled back against the influence of the spring (22) and protects a plug pin (12) against being touched. A locking device (34) which prevents the insulating sleeve (20) being pulled back inadvertently has a double-arm lever (38) whose first arm (40) can be latched in behind the insulating sleeve (20) and whose second arm (42) projects, in the latched-in position, beyond the plug housing (10), through an orifice (44) in said plug housing (10), so that the locking device (34) can be released by pressure on this second arm (42). <IMAGE>
