Handle for hand-held machine tools

A handle for hand-held machine tools is proposed which can also assume other switch positions, such as "Anticlockwise running" and "Emergency off", in addition to the "On" and "Off" positions. A particularly rapidly acting safety cut-off in the event of the drill being blocked is implemented by the "Emergency off" position illustrated in Figure 1. All the switching positions correspond to the normal movement direction in which the operator guides the hand-held machine tool. The "Anticlockwise running" position is used for turning the drilling tool out of a hole. A safety pin (17) protects the hand-held machine tool against being switched on inadvertently. <IMAGE>
