The arrangement comprises a plug-like connector (4), a socket-like connector (6) and a control surface member (8). The plug-like connector (4) is initially locked in an opening (O1) in a motor vehicle door (D), and the socket-like connector (6) is then partially connected to the plug-like connector (4). The control surface member (8) is then connected to the socket-like connector (6), in such a manner that control surface elements (90) of the control surface member (8) pull the plug-like and socket-like connectors (4 and 6) together into the state where they are completed connected to one another, as a result of which a front-side seal (56) of the plug-like connector (4) is pressed against the door (D), and a sealing ring (76) is compressed between the plug-like and socket-like connectors (4 and 6). <IMAGE>
