The invention relates to a centrifugal pump with mounted-on electric motor, in particular for use as a submerged pump for sewage water. The pump has a common shaft for the motor rotor and the pump impeller, which has two shaft bearings and on which the pump impeller is arranged in a flying manner. For the sealing closure of the stator winding in relation to the shaft bearings, a split cage is inserted into the air gap between stator laminations and motor impeller, which cage is, according to the invention, connected in one piece to the bearing plate for the shaft bearing facing away from the pump impeller. Bearing plate and split cage are in particular made as a deep-drawn part made of sheet metal, it being possible for a coaxial casing pipe, which is likewise formed in one piece with these, to form a cylindrical space for receiving the stator core. Outside this casing pipe, an annular space can be formed for casing cooling.
