摘要 <p>The invention relates to an ink jet print head with dynamically flooded pre-chambers of the nozzles, the primary aim of said invention being to increase the availability and functional reliability of the print head in the face of soiling and drying phenomena and undefined wetting at the nozzle edge. The object of the invention is thus to develop an ink jet print head with a chamber which is located ahead of the droplet-ejecting nozzle, is not incorporated in the duct sections serving to feed the ink, and is free from ink in the state of rest and can be flooded dynamically in the operating state. For this purpose, according to the invention the pre-chambers of the nozzles, formed as a circular or elongate hole in one or more plates arranged on the nozzle plate, have a capillary rising height which is less than the height difference between the maximum ink level in the ink supply container and the nozzle bores and are flooded by movements of fluid being produced in the nozzle bore. The invention can be used in the case of single-nozzle or multi-nozzle ink jet print heads in single-colour or multi-colour ink jet printers with discontinuous droplet production. <IMAGE></p>
