A DC/DC converter according to the switched-mode controller principle comprises a switched process control cell (11) by means of which an electrical input current (I1) is converted into an output current (I2) controlled with respect to the output voltage (U2). The control arrangement controls for minimum deviation between the output voltage (U2) and a reference voltage (U3) and for minimum deviation between two additional control variables (a, e). These are proportional to the power removed or supplied to the process control cell (11) per unit time. <IMAGE>
