PURPOSE:To accurately feed a defined quantity of food material by filling said food material which is fed from a hopper, etc. in the defined quantity space of a defined quantity device and, after accurately determining the quantity by said defined quantity space, feeding said food material to a place where another food material is placed. CONSTITUTION:A device for feeding a defined quantity of food material, i.e., ingredients (f), etc. to the crust (e) of a HARUMAKI (a kind of Chinese food) consists of a defined quantity device 26 having a defined quantity space 24 which receives and determines the quantity of the material (f) fed from the bottom end opening of a hopper 22, and a feeding device 28 which pushes out the material (f) from the defined quantity space 24 and feeds it to the crust (e) placed on a table (t). A defined quantity member 32 which forms the defined quantity space 24 and a bottom wall member 36 which is conformed with the bottom end opening of the hopper 22 in the vertical direction are provided on the defined quantity device 26. And, a first plunger 38, a pushing member 40 which is brought into contact with the bottom side of the defined quantity member 32, a horizontal plate member 42, and a second plunger 46 which is moved vertically in a vertical cylinder member 44 are provided in the feeding device 28.
