DEVICE FOR ROTATING BOLT FOR MOUNTING SIPHON TYPE CONVERTER TAP HOLE TO FURNACE BODY

PURPOSE:To easily and quickly bolt a tap hole to furnace body by building a universal joint into a rotary cylinder fixed to a stem part of a rotationary driving means and elastically supporting a socket for fitting a nut to the periph ery thereof. CONSTITUTION:A mounting bolt 21 is fitted to a rotating device 20 of the furnace body mounting bolt and the nut 22 is sacrewed to the bottom end thereof. The socket 23 contains the nut 22 and supports the mounting bolt 21. A sand 35 is lifted by a driving means 31 for lifting to raise the entire part of the driving system. A hydraulic motor 25 is run to rotate the socket 23 via the universal joint 24 and to screw the nut 22 to the mounting bolt 21 when a head 21a of the mounting bolt 21 inserted into the hole 41 of the flange 4a of a tap hole mounting part 4. The rotation of the nut 22 is continued and the nut 22 raises a thread part 21b of the mounting bolt 21 to lift a collar 45, by which the mounting part 4 and the tap hole 1 are fastened via a padding 46.
