PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic document feeding device which carries out handling operations continuously and automatically in order according to handling conditions required for respective document aggregation by providing two document loading parts and setting one or more document aggregations on one document loading part. CONSTITUTION:The captioned feeding device has a reserved document setting part A consisting of a loading tray 1 which is a second loading part for setting documents, a separating and feeding part consisting of a feeding belt 5 and a separating belt 7, sheet passes consisting of three parts (d)-(f), and a feed roller (figure omitted) for conveying the documents on the sheet passes. The device also has a circulating type document feeding device B consisting of a first loading part 301, a first separating means 302, sheets passes consisting part 301, a first separating means 302, sheet passes consisting of parts (j)-(r), and a normally/reversely rotatable conveying means 303. The sheet pass (f) part is separated from the sheet pass (e) part to carry out documents in the direction of a paper discharge tray 14.
