PURPOSE:To prevent the variance of temp. in a heat insulated chamber and to obtain an intended high-quality product by disposing auxiliary heaters to be controlled by a system separate from a system for controlling a main heater for a material to be heated in the heat insulated chamber to a charging port and/or discharging port. CONSTITUTION:A door 6 is opened and the material A to be heated is charged through the charging port 4 onto an imposing base 8 in the heat insulated chamber 3, then the door 6 is closed. The inside of a vacuum vessel 1 is evacuated to a vacuum and is heated by the main heater 9 and the auxiliary heaters 10, 11 enclosing the charging port 4 and/or discharging port 5. The variance of the temp. can be prevented by the heaters 10, 11 which are controlled by the system separate from the system for controlling the heater 9 even if such variance exists in the part facing heat insulating walls 2b, 2c having the doors 6, 7 by the deviation of the charging position of the material A or the distortion generated in the doors 6, 7. The intended high-quality product is obtd. without the laborious operation for adjusting a temp. control mechanism by the above- mentioned constitution.
