PURPOSE:To cope freely with the molding of any size and thickness and to effect the best injection and compression molding by a method wherein a tie bar is made by a hollow rod and the inner diameter thereof is changed while keeping the outer diameter thereof in constant. CONSTITUTION:A movable plate 3 is clamped by a motor 1 and a spiral screw 2, a clearance between a fixed mold 5 and a movable mold 4 is nullified and both of them are contacted tightly with each other to form the cavity 7 of a mold while all of a pressure, applied on the movable plate 3 is absorbed by the elongation of tie bar 8. The opening DELTAL of the mold, caused by the deformation due to a secondary injection pressure, is stored as an energy in the form of the elongation of the tie bar, thereafter, the elastic deformation restoring force of the tie bar 8, elongated into the direction of the thickness of a disc, is exerted in accordance with the advance of cooling of the molded disc after finishing gate seal whereby a clearance between the movable mold 4 and the fixed mold 5 is reduced. Compression operation is started immediately after the gate seal, therefore, molding very faithful to the mold, may be effected. |
