PURPOSE:To decrease page faults caused by an original memory access by giving a pseudo memory access to the page to be possibly used in future and performing the paging with the page fault caused by the pseudo memory access. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic part 2 calculates the address of the present memory access destination outputted from a reference address part 1. Then the pseudo memory access destination that possibly receives an access in the near future is obtained and the paging is carried out in case the page of said pseudo memory access destination does not exist on a main memory. At a memory control part an access is given to the page undergone paging by writing the address information to a reference address part 1 in case a page fault is caused by a pseudo memory access. Thus it is possible to give previously the page of pseudo memory access destination to the main memory through the paging process in case said page does not exist on the main memory.
