PURPOSE:To realize the simulation of various types of burning states with a simple constitution by simulating the burning state in the furnace interior in combination with the lighting up and putting out of lamps disposed in a furnace model, photographing them with a television camera and displaying them on a TV. CONSTITUTION:In the furnace model 5, the lamps are fitted which simulate at every stage the burning states of burners in respective stages in the furnace interior. In accordance with state signals from an output device, which are obtained from the processing result of a calculator system simulating the burning in the furnace interior, respective lamps light up and put out, and picture information is generated which simulate the burning state in the furnace interior in response to the state signal. The picture information which simulates the burning state in the furnace interior is photographed with the television camera 7 disposed on the upper part of the furnace model 5 and displayed on the TV 4 provided for a control panel 8. By a video displayed on the TV 4, a trainee under operation training can confirm the burning state in the furnace interior at such a time.
