PURPOSE:To enable an image recording to be sharply conducted on a body to be recorded in a color according to a bit of color information, by providing a feed portion which holds an ink sheet so as to be fed and a control member for changing a path of the ink sheet being led from the feed portion to a receive portion. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon cassette 50, containing an ink ribbon 1 in a case (c) consisting of a lower cassette case 52 and an upper case 63, is detachably set to a carrier tape 28. The ink ribbon 1 is fitted into a projecting portion 52a on the lower cassette case 52 with being wound round a core 51. The ink ribbon 1 is led to an opening 52e on the lower cassette case through rollers 53b, 53c, 53d which are rotatably mounted on a projecting portion 52b, an ink ribbon detection window 52c, and a projecting portion 52d on the lower cassette case 52 respectively and exposed once outside the case (c), thereafter being led to a peeling roller 54 and again into the case (c) from an opening 52l and taken up by a take-up hub. A switch-over lever 62 is provided between the lower cassette case 52 and the upper case 63 so as to freely slide (in a direction of Arrow K) and rotate (in a direction of Arrow L) while being engaged with a lower end 60a of a slider 60 at a tip end thereof 62a.
