In an artificial-head measuring system comprising an imitation of the shoulders, head and ears, and microphones arranged on both sides in the imitated auditory canals, it is proposed to simplify the geometrical structure so that the outer describable geometry of the artificial head is reduced to the acoustically relevant geometry which is determined by calculation and measurements, the artificial head being composed of individual partial bodies which occupy pre-determined positions relative to each other and which all of them can be derived from geometrically simple bodies such as cylinder, cuboid, sphere, ellipse, and the like, and are related to mean data obtained from test persons so that a fully calibratable artificial-head measuring system is obtained.
|
