PROCESS FOR ENDLESS JOINTING OF CONVEYING BELT

PURPOSE:To prevent the cut-off of a suture and also to raise the flexibility of the jointing part, by exposing a reinforcing layer from a skin at both end parts and by stacking each ply at specific postures, thereafter by suturing the end parts of the reinforcing layer to be covered with the skin. CONSTITUTION:At both end parts of a conveyer belt 1 a reinforcing layer 2 is exposed from a skin 3, and each ply 2a-2c are formed into step-like forms pointed to reverse directions each other at the direction of thickness of the belt 1. Thereafter plies at postures where each end face is orientated in mutually faced forms are stacked and sutured in zig-zag form toward the longitudinal or width direction. Additionally the whole of the exposed end parts of the reinforcing layer 2 is covered with a skin 4, and adhered to the reinforcing layer 2 and the skin 3 with natural curing or heat curing, or an adhesives.
