PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an operator and to attain the control of the using frequency of a terminal equipment by counting the using frequency of the terminal equipment for each time by a counting means to store this counting result in a memory means and then displaying the obtained using frequency by a display means as necessary. CONSTITUTION:Both the using frequencies of a 2-dimensional scanner 40 and a recorder 45 and the retrieving frequency of the picture information are counted every time the terminal equipments 11-1n are used individually. At the same time, a memory area 48c is updated and the stored frequency information is displayed by a picture information memory/retrieval device 3 or delivered as necessary. Thus the using frequency can be controlled with each of terminal equipments 11-1n and furthermore the using frequencies of all terminal equipments can be grasped by the device 3.
