PURPOSE:To transmit the intention of a calling subscriber to a called subscriber even if the called subscriber leaves a telephone set during speaking, by adding the function where a user transmits a specific signal to an output terminal for transmitter with a service line connected. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 2 is depressed with the service line connected, a specific signal transmitting circuit 3 is driven, and the specific signal is transmitted to the receiver of the telephone set of the called subscriber through an output terminal 5 of a transmitter 4. When the specific signal is inputted from the called subscriber to a driving circuit 8 of a speaker through an input terminal 7 of a receiver 6, the driving circuit 8 is operated, and the same audio signal as input to the receiver 6 is transmitted to a speaker 9. Thus, the intention of the calling subscriber is transmitted to the called subscriber even if the called subscriber leaves the telephone set during speaking.
