PURPOSE:To make the fitting of an intake tower easier by connecting the n-th intake tower erection block with the (n+1)-th intake tower erection block by using a scaffold device attached to the n-th intake tower erection block. CONSTITUTION:A first one of intake tower erection blocks 3a consisting of three strut pieces 7a and an annular intake tower scaffold 8 is set on the intake tower base 2 of a dam 1. A scaffold device 11 for election intake tower is fixed to a first block 3a, a second block 3a is stacke up by positioning the strut pieces 7a, and the pieces 7a are connected with each other by using the scaffold device 11. The device 11 is removed out of the first block 3 and fixed to the upper second block 3a, and a necesary number of the blocks 3a are then stacked up and integrated. The fitting of the intake tower can thus be made easier and the efficiency of operations can also be enhanced.
