PURPOSE:To make the distinct printing operation possible by using ceramics for the materials of the nozzle of for an ink jet printer. CONSTITUTION:Ceramics material excellent in wear resistance, chemicals resistance, mechanical strength, and thermal shock resistance as a nozzle is used. Though ceramics to be applied are not especially limited, for instance Si3N4, Al2O3, and ZrO2 can be exampled. Si3N4 is especially excellent in wear resistance and corrosion resistance and therefore, suitable. Thereby, all the phenomena such as rust and clogging of a nozzle hole disappear and it is excellent in wear resistance. Therefore, the wear of the nozzle hole due to the jetting ink is extremely decreased. Then, the distinct printing operation for a long time in an ink jet printer can be achieved. |
