PURPOSE:To decrease the switching time by turning off a transistor (TR) outputting an output signal of opposite phase to an input signal based on an output at the turning-on of a TR driven directly by a signal in opposite phase to the input signal. CONSTITUTION:When the level of an input signal VIN changes from 'H' to 'L', a signal V1 is inverted to 'L' and a signal V2 is inverted to 'H'. Then TR T8 is turned on and the emitter potential of a TR T6 is boosted up to power supply potential Vcc, then the TR T6 is turned on and the base potential of a TR T7 rises accordingly, then the TR T7 is turned on. At the transient state when the input signal VIN changes from 'H' to 'L', the electric charge sufficiently to turn on a TR T3 remains on the base of the TR T3 and the on-state of the TR T3, that is, the state 'L' of an output signal VOUT continues for a while. Since the electric charge on the base of the TR T3 is discharged momentarily to ground via the TR T7, then the TR T3 is turned off quickly and the output signal Vout rises quickly. |
