PURPOSE:To enable the running to be easily performed even on a bad road, by providing a driven center wheel, right and left wheels, opening parts penetrating in the axial direction through side surfaces of the wheels, engaging pieces engaging with said opening parts and retaining pieces so as to efficiently transmit driving power to the wheel whose rotary speed is slowed down by resistance. CONSTITUTION:A differential gear provides a center wheel 1 driven by a driving shaft 5, right and left wheels 2A, 2B brought into slide contact with the both sides, opening hole parts penetrating in the axial direction through a side surface part of each wheel, engaging pieces 8 engaged with said opening hole parts and retaining pieces 16. And if a speed of the left wheel increases faster by a right curve, centrifugal force more acts on the retaining piece 16 of the left wheel 2A, and the engaging piece 8 engages only with the opening hole part 13B of the right wheel 2B by extruding a crest-shaped protrusive part 9A of the engaging piece 8 to a side of the center wheel 1. Accordingly, when right curve running is performed, the differential gear, which transmits driving power only to the right wheel 2B while places the left wheel 2A in an opening condition, enables the curved running to be smoothly performed. In this way, even the running on a bad road can be easily performed by efficiently transmitting driving power to the wheel whose speed is slowed down.
