PURPOSE:To permit the application to the versatile use by supporting a small diameter transmission wheel, large diameter transmission wheel, and a riding-up cam type press-contact force generating device by one shaft and using said shaft as input shaft or output shaft and binding a plurality of conical rollers by a speed change ring. CONSTITUTION:A speed change ring 2 obstructs the spring-out of a plurality of conical rollers 1 in the radial direction, and an output shaft 9 obstructs the outward slip-off of the following three elements: a small-diameter transmission wheel 3, large-diameter transmission wheel 4, and a press-contact force generating device 5 which are supported by the output shaft 9. In the assembly consisting of the output shaft 9 as supporting member and the speed change ring 2 as binding member, the force which the press- contact force generating device 5 exerts is received by the output shaft 9, and forms the internal force in the assembly. In other words, since, in the assembly, the need of providing a particularly high strength for an outer shell case for accommodating the assembly is avoided, the restriction due to the shape of the machinery which necessitates speed change can be reduced markedly, and application to the versatile use is permitted.
