PURPOSE:To easily send the suitable originating information to each communication destination even when it is domestic or overseas by registering two types of the originating information and transmitting selectively it in accordance with an opponent station telephone number. CONSTITUTION:An operator selects and designates the designation of the address to be transmitted from an operating/sending part 1 by a decimal key or an one-touch operation key. At such a time, a microprogram control part 2, when an opponent station is judged to be overseas, an address B6 in a memory part 3 is selected, and the control is shifted to an originating information transmission processing. The opponent receiving station which is judged to be overseas by these processings can receive the recording picture to which the originating information called as FACSIMILE is added. In the same way, when the opponent station is judged to be domestic, an address A4 is selected, the opponent receiving station can receive the recording picture to which the originating information called as facsimile (Japanese syllabary) is added.
