MANUFACTURE OF METAL BELLOWS

PURPOSE:To obtain the brazed bellows of high accuracy without deformation easily and stably by performing a pressing and heating by inserting a guide sleeve into the center hole of the piled body of a bellows stock. CONSTITUTION:A piled bellows stock is placed on the head part 22 of a bolt 20 so as to locate between flanges 14 and piled by inserting the leg part 24 of the bolt 20 into those holes. Brazing sheets 16a, 16b and spacers 18a, 18b are coaxially interposed between the bellows stocks 10, 10 and in the gap between the flange 14 and bellows stock 10 simultaneously. The cylindrical guide sleeve 28 in the prescribed length is subjected to an outer insertion on the leg part 24 of the bolt 20. The piled body consisting of the stock 10 and flange 14 is pressed via a compressed coil spring 34 by fastening a nut 38 by coaxially overlapping a press plate 30 on the upper part. The joined body that the bellows stock 10 and flange 14 are integrated is obtd. by heating upto the temp. at which only the solder of the sheets 16a, 16b are melted.
