<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the imbalance of exhaust gas caused when a exhaust gas turbo supercharger is put aside to one side of a bank, by disposing the upstream side of a waste gate passage at an upstream side of the upstream end of the other waste gate passage. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas turbo supercharger 9 is disposed on the left bank side LB of a V-engine VE. A first collecting passage 7 has a smaller passage diameter phid1 as compared with the passage diameter phiD of a second collecting passage 8 and they are so constructed that the exhaust volume of the considerably long first collecting passage 7 is equal to that of the short second collecting passage 8. Branch passages 13, 14, 15 are branched upstream of exhaust passages 1, 3, 5. A first waste gate valve 17 is disposed at the uppermost upstream portion of a first waste gate passage 16. The second waste gate passage 19 of the second collecting exhaust passage 8 takes a circuit round a turbine 10. a second waste gate valve 21 is disposed at the uppermost upstream portion of the second waste gate passage 19.</p> |
