PURPOSE:To effectively draw out the power of a fuel battery with a small- capacity inverter by correcting down a DC current set value when the DC voltage of the fuel battery is lower than a minimum set value and comparing this corrected value with a DC current detection value to control the output frequency of the inverter. CONSTITUTION:A minimum voltage set value Vdc (min) is set by a DC voltage minimum value setter 6; and if a dC voltage detection value Vdc is lower than the minimum voltage set value Vdc (min), a DC current set value Idc is corrected down by the output of an amplifier 7 to become a current command. This current command is compared with a current detection value by a comparing circuit 22, and the difference is inputted to a gate control part 9 to control the output frequency of an inverter 2, and the effective power is controlled. If the power generating capability of a fuel battery 1 is increased and the DC voltage is higher than the minimum set value Vdc(min), an output I'dc of the amplifier 7 is zero, and the effective power of the inverter 2 is increased until it is equal to the DC current set value Idc.
