PURPOSE:To make it possible to shorten a space heating operation time, to carry out an efficient space heating operation and to improve the comfortableness of a living space by setting a desired air flow direction position and automatically directing a hot air flow or a cold air flow toward a desired direction by pushing a switch of a remote control portion. CONSTITUTION:Operation input signal detecting means 34 detects the operation from the operating part of a remote control transmitter. A memory portion 23 within a microcomputer 22 stores the preset positions of a vertically deflecting vane, and horizontally deflecting vanes 5a and 5b. Drive signal generating means 24 outputs to a middle motor 3, a left motor 9a and a right motor 9b signals to rotate the vertically deflecting vane 1 and horizontally deflecting vanes 5a and 5b to desired positions set in set position memory means 23 from both right and left positions when operation input signal detecting means 34 has detected an operation input signal from the operating part in the state where vertically deflecting vane 1 and left and right deflecting vanes 5a and 5b are positioned so that a blast through a blow-off port is branched.
