摘要 PURPOSE:To improve productivity in a manufacturing process of CRTs having high quality picture image by sealing a glass bulb neck to a stem structure while controlling a torsion angle between the horizontal axis of a fluorescent screen and the predetermined axis of an electron gun structure. CONSTITUTION:An alignment pulse motor of a drive unit 12 is driven by a command signal from a CUP 27 so as to rotate a first holder receiver 5a in the direction of A-A'. And a horizontal axis of the reference hole of an electron gun structure is made to coincide with a horizontal axis on a fluorescent screen. In this way, when a torsion angle exceeds a set value, for example, + or -0.15 deg., the angle is again measured and computed and when a torsion angle is less than + or -0.15 deg., a mount pin 9 is fixed to a clutch. Thereafter, the mount pin 9 is lifted by the drive unit 12 as far as a predetermined distance in the direction of an arrow C. Thus, a neck 1A and the stem glass of a stem structure 11 mounted with the electron gun structure 10 are heated and welded in flame generated by the gas burner of a sealing device so as to be sealed.
