PURPOSE:To make the titled optical pickup small in size, light in weight, and low in cost, by constituting it by superposing two hologram lenses in which the lattice groove directions are roughly orthogonal to each other, and a 1/4 wavelength plate, and simultaneously focusing two semiconductor laser light beams onto an optical disk track, and photodetection of a reflected light therefrom. CONSTITUTION:The titled optical pickup is provided with two hologram lenses 101, 102 which are superposed and placed so that the lattice groove directions are roughly orthogonal to each other, and a 1/4 wavelength plate which is placed between each hologram lens 101, 102 and an optical disk track 120. The two hologram lenses 101, 102 and the 1/4 wavelength plate 103 can be superposed and formed integrally, and also, together with them, two semiconductor lasers 104, 105, and two detectors 106, 107 can also be formed integrally, therefore, the optical pickup can be made light in weight and small in size remarkably. |
