PURPOSE:To inhibit numerous retrials in a short time, by increasing a time to input password number next, corresponding to the number of times of the non-coincidence of a password, when the password does not coincide with a principal in a system in which the principal is confirmed by comparing the principal with the password. CONSTITUTION:When the password is inputted from an input means 1, a comparison means 3 on whose storing means 2 is stored the password in advance, compares the password from the input means 1 with the password in the storing means 2, and when they coincide, a permission signal is obtained, and when they do not coincide, a counter means 4 counts the number of the non- coincidence. Also, a time means 5 time-counts from this time, and when a time corresponding to the count value of the counter means 4 arrives, it issues a time up signal to the input means 1, then permits the next password to be inputted. the time means 5 is constituted so that the more counted the counter value of the counter means 4, the longer it time-counts. In this way, it is impossible to perform a retrying operation in a short time, and it is impossible to find the password number by a dishonest person in point of time. |
