PURPOSE:To make it possible to freely position an oil tank by connecting the input and the output port of an oil tank arranged below the oil level of an oil pan to the discharge side of an oil pump and an oil filter respectively. CONSTITUTION:An oil tank 6 is formed separately from an oil pan 2, and positioned below the oil level of the oil pan 2. The under surface of the oil tank 6 is provided with an input port 6a connected to the discharge side of an oil pump 4 through an oil passage 5, and an output port 6b connected to an oil filter 11 through an oil passage 10. Lubricating oil force-fed by the oil pump 4 into the oil passage enters the oil tank 6 at its input port 6a, and flows out of the output port 6b, and then is fed through the oil passage 10 and the oil filter 11 into the each part of an engine 1.
