PURPOSE:To improve accuracy in blade mounting by protruding a mounting boss provided projectingly on the lower surface of a rotor from an opening of the underside motor housing and mounting a blade on this mounting boss to prevent the strength of housing from degradation due to the opening. CONSTITUTION:A mounting boss 8 for a blade frame on the lower surface of a rotor 5 projects from an opening 10 of the underside motor housing 1 and a blade frame 12 to which a blade 11 for a fan is fixed is mounted directly on said projecting mounting boss 8. Thus, by mounting the blade 11 directly on said projecting mounting boss 8 can be reduced the opening 10 of the underside motor housing 1 without degrading the strength of the motor housing 1 and accuracy in mounting the blade can be improved compared with conventional one irrespective of accuracy in the motor housing 1. As a result, the accuracy in pitch balance can be improved by the blade mounting to restrain the swing phenomenon of a ceiling fan.
