摘要

PURPOSE:To attain hue change and to expand the selection width of hue by using a polarizing plate having two polarization directions and having polarization degrees in respectively different visual light wavelength regions in these two polarizing directions for at least one polarizing plate. CONSTITUTION:At least one of the polarizing plates 1, 2 has two polarization directions and has respective polarization degrees in respectively different visual light wavelength areas in these two polarizing directions. Consequently, the selection degrees of display colors and increased and display appropriate for user's choice can be attained. For instance, red and green color polarizing plates are laminated and stuck to each other so that respective polarizing directions are deviated by 90 deg.. The colors can be variously changed or the intersecting angles of the polarizing directions can be shifted from 90 deg.. Thus, the polarizing plate having two polarization directions and polarization degrees in respectively different visual light wavelength regions in these two polarizing directions can be used.
