The headgear (1) has a hood (2) with a frame (2') and one or more holders (3) for the support straps (6-8). The frame is made of a porous, energy absorbing and shape permanent material and the holder is arranged within the frame. There are protruding parts (4) in the hood on to which the support straps are attached. A front section (31) of the frame is intended to cover the front part of the crown of the wearer. A rear section (32) of the frame is intended to cover the rear of the crown of the wearer. There are four protrusions from the hood and two of these are at the back of the hood and two are at the front. |
