PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for identifying a password and the communication time and to prevent a malfunction by storing a password and a response program in a card and providing a terminal with a means that reads the contents of the card and stores them, a card discharge means, etc. CONSTITUTION:When the card is inserted into the IC card input part 13 of the terminal 2', its identifier is checked. If it is incorrect, the card 13 is discharged. If the identifier is correct, the pass code of the card and the response program are read in a memory part 14. Based on the written contents the automatic response to a video disk center 1 is executed through a combination reception response part 15, and the password is identified and decided. Consecutively an initial picture such as a command instructing a display part 12' to start its operation is displayed. After desired video information is received to end the use of a picture, the discharge device of the terminal 2' discharges the card. By the automatic response processing the time required for identifying the password is shortened, and the occurrence of malfunction can be prevented because no manual operation exists. |
