<p>PURPOSE:To enable a low-priced switching element to be used, by constituting a control unit of a plurality of the switching elements, which control a motor to switch its acting direction, and designing the wiring method of said switching elements, in the case of a power steering in which a turning effect of the motor is transmitted to a pinion shaft meshed with a rack shaft. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a power steering, in which a pinion shaft, meshed with a rack toothed part of a rack shaft, is turned by a DC motor 13 through an electromagnetic slip clutch or the like, the motor 13 is controlled by a control unit 9. Here the control unit 9 provides a switching element 9d, connected in series with the motor 13, and a switching element 9f whose one end is connected with the first output terminal of the control unit 9. Further a switching element 9i, which is connected in series with the switching element 9f setting its connection point serving as the first connection point A and connecting the other point to the earth, and switching elements 9g, 9h, similarly connected to these elements 9f, 9i, are provided. And each connection point A, B is connected with both ends of a field coil 13a of the motor 13.</p> |
