PURPOSE:To store many types of regular size plates in a small space by providing a receiving table movable up and down on a cabinet type stocker so that the plates can be extracted one by one. CONSTITUTION:A multi-step type stocker 6 is partitioned into a cabinet shape with partition plates 7, and an automatic lifting table 12 movable up and down is provided so as to correspond to each step position. Free bearings 13 are provided on the lifting table 12 so that materials can be smoothly slidden, both sides of the table 12 are engaged with ball screws 14, and the table 12 is lifted or lowered by the rotation of a motor. A stopper to fix regular size plates 2 is provided on the partition plate 7. For the extracting operation, the drawer 7 carrying plates with a desired thickness is withdrawn, the height of the stopper 10 is adjusted for the necessary number of plates, then the automatic lifting table 12 is set to the position of the partition plate 7. The regular size plates 2 stuck by rust preventive oil are peeled off with a knife-shaped tool and are withdrawn on the automatic lifting table 12, thus the work can be easily performed by one man.
